The Cu Chulainn (pronounced Koo-hu-linn) is Irish's first carbon cyclocross frame. The frame features a monocoque Torayca High Modulus frame based on a T700 unidirectional lay-up, mated to your choice of an Alpha-Q CX20 ot Alpha-Q CX-10 fork. Topped off with a hard coated and durable paint job, the Cu Chu not only looks good, but rides extremely well. With an aggressive front end tied to a stable 72/75 geometry, the Cu Chu lets you maintain speed while maximzing riding position for control. The 50mm down tube and massive mud shedding seat stays ensures excellent power transmission while the 48mm semi flattened top tube makes those barrier hopping moments not only possible but also comfortable. The frame uses a standard 1.125" headset, 31.6mm seat post, a 34.9mm clamp style front derailluer and a brake away rear derailluer hanger so there is nothing funky here if you need to find parts. No waiting 6 months for the opto-turbo something or another crank arms and wicked light 99 roller pin 1.5" headsets. This frame IS made for racing.

COMPONENTS: The Cu Chulainn is a limited production frame and therefore is sold as a frame and fork combination. However, if you want a full ride, we will spec a complete bike per your request. Want to rock a SRAM Red bike with Reynolds DV46s? We can set it up for you with your local shop. If you want to run Rival, we'll do that, too! Simply let your favorite shop or us know and we'll get a quote for you! |
