Irish Cycles started as a concept born of the necessity to provide high quality bicycle racing equipment to those who strove to compete in Elite level USA Cycling events in the North Carolina and Chicago areas. Over the years, the members of Irish Cycles have worked as both bicycle mechanics and racers. They took their knowledge gained on the bike and refined it off the bike through practical application and studying emerging technologies. Avoiding fads and aimless gram counting "one-ups-manship", they focused on a few core products that could support anyone, from a new performance rider to a dominant, 1800-watt-sprinting, frame bending professional.
Born of that philosophy was the Tir na nOg frameset, a high modulus carbon fiber frame featuring a unique blend of Toray carbon fibers, optimized to provide a stiff, yet comfortable, ride. We explored the various component groups on the market and after careful analysis, we equipped our bikes with the most highly advanced components groups on the market: SRAM's Red, Force and Rival.
We finished our bikes off with Easton, Reynolds, and FSA products, long known to produce some of the highest quality racing components available.
Our Frames
Through a meticulous design process, working in concert with our engineering department, we've brought our frame's weight down to between 995 and 1200 grams, depending on size and model, without sacrificing rigidity or ride quality. Our frames are constructed of both High Modulus and Ultra-High Modulus Carbon Fibers and feature a beautiful 12K weave that provides a compacting wrap to lock in the strengths of a monocoque HMCF design. >>> Read more about our frames

We package our bikes and send them directly to you featuring the best, highest grade, and most proven components on the market today. We offer both frame and complete bike solutions, factory direct to you or preferably through your local bike shop.
